We believe there is the requirement for urgent action to transition to clean energy. In order to achieve this it is critical that the cost of energy remains increases at acceptable rates and that government continues to support such transitions.
Bioverse Energy started back in 2010 with the vision to transition fossil energy to sustainable clean energy across the globe. Initially focused on biofuels our first project, that we owned, developed and operated was based in Madagascar producing biodiesel. Subsequently, we recognised the importance of biogas and the utilisation of waste for the production of energy.
Today, we are pleased to announce that our company has entered into a joint venture with a USA based technology provider who designs and builds biogas plants and wastewater treatment plants.
The solutions that we will inject into the Australian market will have a great efficiency that existing and competitive products and our wastewater treatment plant upgrades will provide cost saving benefits in terms of initial capex and longer term operating costs.
Capital is critical to all renewable energy projects and we at Bioverse Energy understand its importance and the importance of developing a solid capital raising strategy. Steve has been working on renewable energy and biofuels projects since 2005.
30+ years working in international finance and business. Ex-investment banker and director at Merrill Lynch and Commerzbank AG in London and New York, working as a structurer and trader across several asset classes. Established and managed a EUR 1 billion and EUR 5 billion asset funds. Involved in renewable energy since 2005 with principal positions in biofuels and waste to energy projects. Co Founded Bioverse Energy, in 2010, with a focus on biogas in Australia and New Zealand partnering with several Germany technology providers. Launched Lithium Consulting in 2010, ahead of the Lithium mining boom predicting the directional change to EVs. Established Bayleaf Capital in 2016 to focus on providing finance for junior battery metal mining companies and hydrogen companies. Currently hold advisory board positions on Covimro Limited and Alcotox Limited.
